The gates to the Cape Town Stadium were opened to the eager crowd at 14h00. This was not only followed by a live performance of the South African music group “Freshly Ground”, but also the exciting soccer game between local clubs Ajax Cape Town and Santos from which Santos emerged as the overall winner after an exhilarating penalty shoot-out.
